I would love to be a part of Fortune Builders one day!  Of all the investors I'm connected with in Atlanta (REI is a small world, even here) the one's who are trained by FB are by far the most efficient. They have good criteria, effective systems, and are building a real business instead of just moving from deal to deal.

I have been through much of their training and have modeled our structure based on their system. I agree that it is expensive, but truly believe that their success at investing is worth modeling. One thing is true, there are many different proven models to follow and an equal number of "experts". BP has many advantages for anyone wanting to break into investing and with time and much work, risks can be minimized.  That is really what all this is about, constantly learning from as many different sources as possible. FB is one of those great sources...

I have attended the 3 day weekend seminar put on by them. I rather enjoyed the seminar and did think it was worth the $190. But I don't believe any of their tier training is worth it. Way, way too expensive (minimum being $15,000 up to $55,000). Its a great crash course to get an overview on the different areas of real estate. But don't buy into the hype of the tiers. BP and books by the authors or at Rich Dad company will serve you quite fine.

lol. Yeah I think most of us on here have heard of them.  I think most of us on here would tell you anything Fortune Builders will charge you to teach you, you can learn here for free, and probably learn much better here.

To give you guys an update..I spoke with a recruiter from FB about a position with the organization and what I learned was this:

1- FB just does education on residential investing

2- I knew more about it than the recruiter

3- The position was not to educate others but to sell their products

4- The recruiter did not care if I knew anything about investing in real estate
