How do you find out if its legal to do practice Investing with out a RE license in Houston TX. Is their any laws that I should know about, I've seen a few discouraging post on other web sites stating that its illegal.

Any advice helps

Wholesaling is completely different. There is nothing illegal about buying and selling houses. When wholesaling you have equitable interest in the home.
