Good morning everyone

So for a few years I've had this awesome idea in my head that won't go away but I'm not sure if it's a bad idea or a good idea.  I want to create a nonprofit organization in which I'd be purchasing vacant and condemned housing, rehabbing them,  and renting them or offering for sale or rent to own.  The neighborhood in which i want to do this is not the best.  However I'm trying to rebuild a community and eliminate a lot of the vacant and condemned housing pandemic that's going on in Baltimore.  Good idea or bad idea? Any suggestions?

Good idea, I know Baltimore and the Mayor as well as some of the council people in the City. There are programs now like this.  You can get the city to give you some houses, all need to do now is find some fund to clean them up.

You should write up your proposal and call the Mayor's office. She knows me, mention my name. You may want to call councilman Jack Young and Bob Curran.

You have a big job ahead of you.

You may want to consider contacting the owners of some of the vacant houses, i am sure they will give them to you.
