Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post! My name is Toni and I am new to the real estate world. What brought me here? Well actually, I was a nursing student close to graduation when I had my baby girl.... Wow did that change my life. Nursing school had to be put on the line but I'm glad it did.... My fiance ran into some information that changed our way of thinking, and we stumbled into the book 'rich dad poor dad'. I began thinking, ok I really want to be a nurse, but do I want to be working for a boss who is just making money out of my hard work and passion to help people? Do i want my daughter to grow up thinking she has to work for people to make it by? No!!!! I am ready for a change. Also my fiances trade is painting, why would we want him working long hours, inhaling fumes and risking his life on ladders?? In the last few years I lost my dad and he lost his mom, both due to the ultimate rat race of working their butts off to provide us with shelter, food and clothes.

So what do we have to start with.. We are motivated, young, smart and have our second baby on the way, due in April. We have learned so much online, on bigger pockets and many resources such as books we have downloaded and read about real estate. Although we don't have money to begin, we have set our minds to begin wholesaling and so far have one house under contract and are close to having another under contract! Although this is exciting for us as beginers, we know there is much more to learn and so many ways to make money doing real estate than just wholesaling.

Our goal is to be free and teach our kids that life is not about working.. But about living and enjoying life. We are sick of the rat race and log I g in four walls of a small apartment. We want to travel and enjoy life, learn, educate ourselves, eat healthy and just be happy! Both of our parents died at the age of 51, its just not right...

We are self motivated and self educated....  Bigger pockets has been such a great resource for learning and we thank everyone for the info posted on here! If anyone has any tips or advice for us please let us know! We eventually want to invest in houses but for now are Just driven with education and with the goal of a better life.... How did everyone else begin and become successful? Again any advice would be much appreciated (: Thank you everyone for your time!!!!!
