Responding to Bandit Signs asking for Investors

I'm in the DFW Metroplex and saw a bandit sign just yesterday asking for Investors.  So ironic considering I have no recollection ever seeing a sign like this until I actually have an interest in investing.

My question to all of you experienced folks, because everyone is more experienced than I am, is would you give these bandit signs a chance?

If so, what types of questions would you ask?  I figure, if I call, I'm interviewing them to see if they fit my needs and preferences as an investor.  If you have some questions, I'd love to know some technical questions to ask pertaining to track record/historical data showing success.  Other than that, I'm not sure what else to ask.

I also know that I won't be giving any of my information over the phone to people I don't know.  I even hesitate calling them from my personal phone number.

Thanks in advance for your time in giving me some guidance.
