New to investing in Austin area

Good morning all! I'm in the process of acquiring as much knowledge as possible about REI prior to making any ill advised moves. I have an interest in entering the small apartment niche and eventually (hopefully) transitioning into commercial. I'd be very willing to assist any experienced investors in the area with pretty much anything for get a better grasp on investing, and in particular investing in the crazy Austin area. Thanks!
