What Career Best Complements REI?

Hello BP!

I'm 24 years old, college graduate (Economics), and looking for a career that will best complement REI. I am planning on flipping homes, buy and hold, and possibly wholesaling. Desk jobs do not sound appealing so kind of leaning toward a skilled trade that would work well with rehabbing (HVAC, Electrician, Carpentry etc.). Seems like I can learn how to save money by fixing houses up myself as well as get paid pretty decent to finance more deals.

Buying and leasing homes will hopefully be my main source of revenue so I have also been looking for property management type jobs.  Even considering going back to school for a construction management degree so could maybe build homes one day.

Just curious what BP has to suggest about careers that go well with a life in real estate.  Would love to hear from you all!
