Using SlideShare to Learn Real Estate Investing

As a beginning real estate investor I have been overwhelmed with information. We are taught to learn as much as we can, but there's a lot of information to conquer out there. As a new real estate investor and using my research skills I discovered that I learn better when I can get information in shorter bits. I noticed that a lot of the big real estate gurus want you to listen to webinars that last anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours. I have gotten to the point that I'm burned out on them. It has been proven that mind wanders after 45 minutes of instruction. So I wanted to see if there is something in cyberspace that's informative and not quite so long.

I found Slideshare.net I wanted to share this information especially with the newbie real estate investor. Because you can get information overload really fast. Slideshare gives you great information in an abbreviated format.

What is Slideshare.net. It's a network to place presentations that you want to share with the world. These presentations include Powerpoint presentations, documents, videos and infographics.

There were several presentations that were of interest to me. First let me tell how to use Slideshare to your advantage. I used real estate investor, real estate investment, and real estate as some of my search terms. You can also use the "explore" by topic; economy and finance, real estate, mobil, marketing and the topics go on and on.

You should also look at the featured presentations on the popular page, which is also the home page. These are usually the newest presentations, you will see how long its been posted on the site and how many views the presentation has been viewed.

One more thing if you create a user name and password, you can save presentations you like for later as a PDF or document. You can also upload your own presentation.

The FAQs/General Information is very useful and can answer most questions. There is also an app for Android and iOS

Here's a list of presentations I found useful and hope you do too:

Leveraging the Latest Housing Market Trends

Finding Distressed Listing Leads in 2013

How to Conduct Real Estate Investment Analysis

10 Hot Marketing Tips for Real Estate Investors

Personal Branding from A to Z Guide Book

Real Estate Marketing Guide to Keyword Research

Many of the presentations are helpful to running a business which is what we are doing.
I hope this is useful to the all real estate investors if you haven't venture to Slideshare.net yet.
