16-Year-Old in CDA Looking to Start in Real Estate – Advice?

Hey everyone,

I’m 16 and based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I know I can’t get my real estate license until I’m 18, but I don’t want to wait until then to start learning. I’m looking for ways to get hands-on experience, build connections, and develop skills now so I can hit the ground running when I turn 18.

I’m really interested in real estate investing, property management, and learning how the business works from the ground up. If anyone in CDA/Spokane is open to giving advice, letting me shadow them, or even hiring for part-time work (admin, cold calling, market research, social media—anything that helps me learn), I’d love to connect.

Does anyone have recommendations for first steps, books, courses, or ways to connect with local investors and agents? Any advice would be huge.

Appreciate the help!
Sawyer Kennemer
