Property management experience?

Andy Ptak
Posted

Hello! I am new to the world of real estate investing and want to one day own properties and rent units out. I am currently searching for a job in property management because I feel it will give me solid experience and knowledge to tackle my own properties one day (and I am in need of a career change). Every job I see requires 3+ years of experience and knowledge of multiple different programs. What can I do to gain experience/get a job and get noticed in this field?

No you don't need a license for those jobs. Usually at least some kind of customer service experience is necessary.
