Need a Mentor - Houston, TX

Chad Verde
Posted

Anybody know of a mentor local to Houston, TX? New to REI and ideally would like guidance from someone experienced (not a course seller). Thanks

Go to meetups in Houston first. If you ask like this online, there is really nothing in it for the mentor so you will only get sales pitches and course sells. What are you bringing to the table right now from this post that a mentor would say, yeah that seems like a win-win? If you go to meetups, your mentor will find you over time because you will develop relationships.

@Chad Verde what are you looking to learn about?  Depending on what it is, it's probably not necessary to have someone local.  For example, I know a lot of investors that understand the Houston market intimately and do not live there.  Also, it is likely more important to have someone that understands the asset class you are interested in.
