Advice working with property managers and a design team

Jeff Weaver
Posted

I am one-week out from closing on my first STR. I have already lined up a professional property manager (the STR is out-of-state) and a design team (we are upgrading every room in the house and adding a ton of amenities).

Question: if you have ever used a property manager and/or design team, is there anything you wish you had done differently (with 20/20 hindsight)? I'm looking to avoid rookie pitfalls/mistakes/regrets. TIA for your insight!
