hello everyone, my original real estate investing plan was to buy several multifamily homes and house hack. but ive heard where i really want to move to, (south carolina) that state is not the best for MFH investing. what are the best type of real estate investing strategies in south carolina? i would be purchasing the property with an FHA loan. and im also looking for solid cashflow + long term holding

Hey Sidney, have you considered other markets? I'm originally from Queens, New York.

I was looking for a market that had a lower barrier of entry and was investor-friendly.

I found Cleveland, Ohio. It's a strong cash flow market. It is landlord-friendly, and specific pockets have gone upwards of 2-4x in the last 5-10 years. A ton of MTR/LTR opportunities for out-of-state investors.

Single families are in the 80-120k price range, and duplexes are in the 100-180k price range.
