Central A/C or Mini Split
I’m brand new into the rental property market and I’m looking for advice on what to do with my property when it comes to heating and cooling.
Currently, the house has window units, only 2 of which have heat. While I know winter should be over for southern Louisiana soon-ish, I’m looking for a more permanent solution. Finding window units that have heat is virtually impossible at the moment.
So my question is, do I go with Central A/C, mini split, or wait until I can replace the current window units to ones with heat? There is no ductwork in the attic, but plenty of space for it. The house will be rented for 1500-1600/month.
