New to real estate, looking for any help at all - wholesaling interest

Hello all, I’m 100% new to real estate, no experience at all. I’ve done research, watched videos, went through forums and read everything I could. I’m a 19 yo college athlete from the Chicagoland area looking to expand my knowledge on real estate, more specifically wholesaling. 

what I’m really looking for, or what would be most beneficial to me, would be a mentor of some sort in the Chicagoland area. I’m willing to work for free or offer any help I can so I could learn the business. I want to connect with buyers/investors that have been in my shoe before. I’m looking for any help at all. Any response/comment or anything pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
