Chattanooga,TN Investor Community
Hello everyone,
My name is John and I'm currently based out of Chattanooga,Tennessee. I was curious if there are any local real estate or investor meetups that I can attend. Disclaimer: I do not have my first property yet. I've been reading tons of books and listening to many of podcasts on the topic just haven't taken the first step to build a team or buy a rental property yet. My main goal out of attending the meetup would be to find a mentor/community of like minded people. Any advice would be much appreciated!

It's awesome you are getting started in Chattanooga! It is a great place to start investing, whether that is fix and flips or buy and holds. I work for an investment brokerage up in Nashville, and we do meet ups once a quarter. I know there are plenty of meet ups down in Chattanooga as well though! If I were you, I would join a handful of investor facebook groups because they oftentimes post information about meet ups in your area. There is also Chattanooga REIA (http://chattanoogareia.com/meetings/)- they have a meet up at least once a month. I'd love to connect as well and tell you a little bit about what we do! Good luck in getting started- it's a great business to get into.
