Expected Expenses as First Year Agent
Hi everyone,
As the title says, I am curious how much in savings I should have to pursue becoming an agent. I have a W-2 making around 55k per year, but work the hours of 3-11. Ideally, I would start my real estate career working mornings and keeping my W2 for consistent income in the beginning. I could always work the same job part-time or leave whenever my business needs. So I can plan this going forward: what expenses should I expect (licensing, desk fees, commission split, marketing, etc.) and on average how much should I budget to be spending on my agent business. I am currently house hacking a property and want to get in the industry full time for the experience to take my own portfolio further. Thanks for reading!
