Will paying off Fannie Mae loan decrease mortgage payment?

Hi All, I have mortgage from WellsFargo tell me that even if I pay additional payment to principal won't decrease the mortgage payment. is this true? They said minimum payment to be adjusted has to be $20,000 and they will adjust payment after 3 months. Anything less, won't affect?
