Agent/ Investor and looking to invest long distance

hey there and respect to everyone in here. I live in the Washington Dc area and looking at a property in Cleveland, OH. any advice on that area as far as long-distance investing is concerned/ numbers look pretty encouraging. 

secondly, any idea of a reliable contractor(s) in the area you have used and trust for doing a good job in a timely manner.
