It's important that you consider the laws when looking for a place to invest. California law permits situations like this and ties the hands of the Owner and Property Manager.

Interesting that the property managers brag about how professional they are and are actually using this video as an example of their skills. Even in California a Landlord has the right to enter and a PM should know how to prevent these delay tactics.

I can guarantee I would have found some friends to help me put a stop to this two years ago.

And this is why in late-2020 in Los Angeles when I was preparing to sell my house a few people told me I should instead rent it out and I would typically laugh at them as there was zero chance I would ever consider landlording in L.A.
