Getting Started with Short-Term and Qualifying
Hello everyone.
I am an avid podcast listener, and I am really anxious to get started with investing. My main interest is short-term rentals/airbnb. I just literally do not know where to start! We live in South Florida and own a small business and I am also just starting my real estate career. We do not "show" a lot of money on paper as this is only our second year with our business. We just purchased our first house last year and had to have a co-signer because of lack of income verification. I am basically wondering if it is even possible to begin investing when we are this early in establishing our business. I am not very familiar with different loan alternatives used for investing. We have a little bit of cash that we can put down, but with the expense of the market down here, most likely not 20%. I am confident that once we are able to invest in our first property, it will be successful and cash flow. I just do not know how to get there!
Thank you!

@Coryn Mock I'm not a lender but I know from working with business owners here in South Florida to buy investment properties that there are mortgage options that look at the businesses P&L statements or the businesses bank statements rather then your personal tax returns to qualify you for a loan.
