Permitting for a bedroom , as an office ?

Posted

I am working on my first rental property in Florida , a 2:2 . We hired  an architect to draw up a Florida room conversion into a bedroom for permitting .However , he insists we have the room permitted as an office .

We wanted to add the bedroom so we can legally sell the home as a 3:2. Does anyone know if adding a closest to an office with 2 egress windows would allow me to sell the home as a 3:2? Would I need to get more drawings ?

Currently , the windows are not egress , however by the end of this week two windows in that space will be egress as  impacts windows are being installed to the home.
