Newbie to Real Estate Investing. Knowledge Seeking.

Aruna Abdool

Hi. I couldn't join the Newbie Bootcamp. I'm hoping to be able to catch the next one. My objective at the moment is to learn how/if I can invest in a single family rental property as a means of extra income monthly with little to none of my own money. I am a full-time employee in Healthcare IT, paying off debt, one income household and a homeowner. So far I've found the Basics article (10min read) most useful as starting point.

Hi Aruna,

If you are interesting in investing in real estate with little or no money I would check out Brandon Turner's book, The Book on Investing In Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Down. I'm newer to the BP community as well and I found this book, and many other of their books very helpful as I am currently looking for my first rental property.

Best of luck with your journey!
