Searching for info on starting a mobile home park.

My parents own some land in a small town outside of Nashville and I’m looking for information on what I need to start a mobile home park how to go about renting land to these tenants.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Ben Shippy! I actually started that process not too long ago on a property that already had a water line. Unfortunately, during the process of trying to obtain the information of possibly rezoning it, someone else purchased the property. It was not zoned for MHP; however, the process was quite long to even consider a rezoning. I know every town is different but the town I was dealing with required approval from the city council and mayor. Like previous comment, it is quite difficult to convince the local elected officials to get on board. Luckily, I did not get a "no" from them but I also did not get a "yes". I just did not want to risk purchasing the land before knowing what I would be able to do on that land. @Brenden Mitchum is a great resource! He helped answer so many questions for me. I hope your town gives you some good news too!
