Elimination of the 1031

Politicians are again talking of eliminating the 1031.

Does this change anything for you?   Does that just increase your hold time, so decreases real estate activity?

Do you sell/exchange anyway and just pay the tax man/lady?

Does this hurt or help the economy?  Does it hurt or help generate more housing?

Does it change your strategy?
