Craig is seriously a legend. I have never enjoyed working with someone as much as him. When working with Craig, I quickly felt like he wasn't just in it for the commission and truly does care about long term relationships. Full transparency, the first house we went under contract for ended up having a lot wrong under the surface. The only reason I found this out is because Craig advised that I get a licensed plumber out there before close to take a look. He provided me with referrals to contractors that he had previously worked with. That plumber was such a straight shooter and told me the truth, not just what was going to get him the job. To simply put it, Bryan was fantastic. Being a first time home buyer was probably the most stressful/ frightening event thus far in my life. That being said, Bryan handled it all to ease my mind. Grace Wang is the perfect agent to work with if you're interested in house hacking! Throughout the process of finding and securing my home, I had a LOT of questions. Not only did Grace answer all my questions, but she brought up things I would never have considered. Like running a short-term rental instead of building a full kitchen in the basement for a long-term unit. Or various ways to put up walls to split a floor into a duplex. I had lots of questions about the costs of these jobs and Grace was able to give me a ballpark, which really helped me to be decisive when looking at properties on the MLS. Once I was ready to purchase a home, we carved out a full day to look at seven properties in the Lakewood and Arvada area. My plan was to find a home I could convert into a top-down duplex and run a short-term rental in the bottom floor. Grace has experience with these top-down Airbnb projects, so she was able to explain what the conversion would look like during each open house. I remember one place in particular she noticed right away it wouldn't work. So she called it out and suggested we head to the next place. What a boss! Without Grace I would have wasted so much time and energy considering a place that would be more expensive / impossible to convert. After seeing all seven homes, I was ready to put an offer on two ranch style homes in Arvada. Grace helped me run numbers for the short-term rentals and I finally decided on one in particular because it had a more-desirable location, which contributed to a higher rental estimate on AirDNA and rentometer. Fingers crossed I can achieve those numbers when the airbnb is open for business next month! Craig was very knowledgeable in the location I bought my investment property and gave me some great ideas on how to maximize my ROI. it’s hard to tell if you can trust agents sometimes, I feel like there is trust when they aren’t trying to sell you the most expensive house. That’s when you know they truly care and not just in it for a paycheck. I had 2 properties narrowed down to put an offer on. There was about $50,000 difference in price. He advised me to go with the property that was less, for various reasons. That’s when I knew I had a good one! The podcast always talks about good and bad agents. And it is hard to find the good ones. Craig is definitely one of the good ones! Will use him for future deals. Him and his team were responsive and on top of it.

Craig helped us buy a property in Cherry Creek North in the Denver (scalding hot) market. It's a SFR with a mother-in-law on the lower level (similar to an up/down Duplex). We plan on short term renting the mother in law. We closed in 3 weeks with a regular mortgage from the time we went under contract (very fast). The communication was excellent. This was a remote closing as we were out of town. Craig was responsive to all of our requests, and very helpful in making sure everything went as smoothly as possible.

We were super excited to have Craig as our agent, and are very happy to be in our first house hack. Craig was real friendly and always easy to get a hold of when we had questions. Unfortunately, there was confusion on whether the appliances were included in the purchase contract, or not, when we went to close - so that was a little disappointing. We ended up having to pay extra, separately, to keep the appliances. Granted, it was just as much our responsibility as the buyers, but we would've hoped for the professional to help us there - either writing our offer to better match the listing details or to catch the mistake before closing. In the end, a relatively cheap learning lesson and no issue now (I include this mainly so anyone reading it doesn't make the same silly mistake). Overall, highly recommend Craig. Overall, I had a very positive experience working with Craig Curelop. Prior to agreeing to work with Craig as our realtor, we met with him to go over various questions we had about house hacking and about the Denver real estate market. After our initial meeting, we felt we had a much better understanding of all the details that go into house hacking, and we felt confident with moving forward and working with Craig. He was able to suggest various areas to check out, and he was able to help us define the criteria for what to look for in a house hack. We ended up purchasing in Olde Town Arvada, which was never on our radar until Craig mentioned it. Where he provided a lot of value was during a house showings. He would explain conservatively about how many each room in a home could net in rental income. This allowed us to be able to quickly run the numbers based on the purchase price, major expenses, and rental income to identify if a property had potential for house hacking. To simply put it, Bryan was fantastic. Being a first time home buyer was probably the most stressful/ frightening event thus far in my life. That being said, Bryan handled it all to ease my mind. With the housing market insane as it is right now; we looked at dozens & dozens of houses, putting out numerous offers, all while facing unwavering rejection. Grace Wang is the perfect agent to work with if you're interested in house hacking! Throughout the process of finding and securing my home, I had a LOT of questions. Not only did Grace answer all my questions, but she brought up things I would never have considered. Like running a short-term rental instead of building a full kitchen in the basement for a long-term unit. Or various ways to put up walls to split a floor into a duplex. I had lots of questions about the costs of these jobs and Grace was able to give me a ballpark, which really helped me to be decisive when looking at properties on the MLS. Once I was ready to purchase a home, we carved out a full day to look at seven properties in the Lakewood and Arvada area. My plan was to find a home I could convert into a top-down duplex and run a short-term rental in the bottom floor. Grace has experience with these top-down Airbnb projects, so she was able to explain what the conversion would look like during each open house. I remember one place in particular she noticed right away it wouldn't work. So she called it out and suggested we head to the next place. What a boss! Without Grace I would have wasted so much time and energy considering a place that would be more expensive / impossible to convert. After seeing all seven homes, I was ready to put an offer on two ranch style homes in Arvada. Grace helped me run numbers for the short-term rentals and I finally decided on one in particular because it had a more-desirable location, which contributed to a higher rental estimate on AirDNA and rentometer. Fingers crossed I can achieve those numbers when the airbnb is open for business next month! Craig was very knowledgeable in the location I bought my investment property and gave me some great ideas on how to maximize my ROI. it’s hard to tell if you can trust agents sometimes, I feel like there is trust when they aren’t trying to sell you the most expensive house. That’s when you know they truly care and not just in it for a paycheck. I had 2 properties narrowed down to put an offer on. There was about $50,000 difference in price. He advised me to go with the property that was less, for various reasons. That’s when I knew I had a good one! The podcast always talks about good and bad agents. And it is hard to find the good ones. Craig is definitely one of the good ones! Will use him for future deals. Him and his team were responsive and on top of it.

Craig helped us buy a property in Cherry Creek North in the Denver (scalding hot) market. It's a SFR with a mother-in-law on the lower level (similar to an up/down Duplex). We plan on short term renting the mother in law. We closed in 3 weeks with a regular mortgage from the time we went under contract (very fast). The communication was excellent. We were super excited to have Craig as our agent, and are very happy to be in our first house hack. Craig was real friendly and always easy to get a hold of when we had questions. Unfortunately, there was confusion on whether the appliances were included in the purchase contract, or not, when we went to close - so that was a little disappointing. We ended up having to pay extra, separately, to keep the appliances. Overall, I had a very positive experience working with Craig Curelop. Prior to agreeing to work with Craig as our realtor, we met with him to go over various questions we had about house hacking and about the Denver real estate market. After our initial meeting, we felt we had a much better understanding of all the details that go into house hacking, and we felt confident with moving forward and working with Craig. He was able to suggest various areas to check out, and he was able to help us define the criteria for what to look for in a house hack. We ended up purchasing in Olde Town Arvada, which was never on our radar until Craig mentioned it. Where he provided a lot of value was during a house showings. He would explain conservatively about how many each room in a home could net in rental income. Craig is seriously a legend. I have never enjoyed working with someone as much as him. When working with Craig, I quickly felt like he wasn't just in it for the commission and truly does care about long term relationships. Full transparency, the first house we went under contract for ended up having a lot wrong under the surface.
