A failure of juxtaposition. As a current tenant, they are the worst. Joseph Group charges nearly $500/yr "Residential Benefit Fee" which I was told by their employee, covers the cost of their website - which I pay Joseph Group on. Joseph Group's position as middleman unethically passes this "Residential Benefit Fee" onto the tenant each month - as opposed to the Owner of the property who employs their services. Their website shows other listed benefits, but they are mostly move-in related and not of good use after the first month. It's as unethical a hustle as I've seen before. I am the renter. I pay rent. I do not directly pay the costs for Joseph Group to operate. Additionally, they (whomever responds to your 'service requests') are totally tone deaf of the importance of a high priority issue when it crops up. Earlier this year it took several weeks to get a door knob replaced on the back screen door when the old one suddenly broke. Then, on Christmas day our washer broke. They offered no solution for us while it was being replaced (which took 11 days). If I had kids, they'd have had to go to school with stinky clothes. A homeowner would have fixed the issue immediately or the next day. But hey, I guess that's why we pay a residential benefit fee every month because, otherwise, I might not get any "customer service" from Joseph Group 🥲 Do not rent with Joseph Group.

They proposed a monthly rent, which I accepted. The house was only 2 days on the market and I got a lease... Awesome! I can recommend!

The Joseph group was the first rental company I have ever dealt with. I worked with Michael throughout my entire time renting and he was amazing. Every time there was a problem, it was fixed immediately. The communication was perfect and there was no hassle with anything. Due to life events, I unfortunately broke my lease 6 months into the 2nd year, and Michael was a huge help and gave me great tips to help with the move out process, considering it was my first time ever renting. I would recommend The Joseph Group 100% and would be quick to work with them again in the future.
