About us
Engaged management, by investors, for investors. We are a full service property management company built by real estate investors, for real estate investors. We want to partner with good people! If you are a new, or experienced investor, with 1 unit or many, we want to help you achieve financial independence through real estate investing. We founded Cedar Ridge Management with a mission to provide the very best service, support investing goals of property owners, care for properties and tenants diligently, and have a blast in the wonderful world of real estate investing–and glorify God through all of it. Schuyler started real estate investing in 2011 six-months before reporting to active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Because of deployments and training exercises, he struggled maintaining a profitable portfolio until he married Avery in 2016. Avery immediately turned his portfolio around by firing all of his property managers, seriously interviewing a bunch and picking ones that knew their stuff! In 2017 we started buying locally. The first duplex we bought in Jacksonville had a tenant that was 4 months behind in rent and the manager at the time didn’t even know it! So…Avery started managing our portfolio, and we never looked back. Then Avery got her real estate license and started managing for a growing group of Marines who were investing locally. Avery built the initial management portfolio by focusing on providing stellar service to owners and tenants. We committed early on to build a management company that treated every property like it was our own investment. (To this day we do not spend any money on marketing and grow by providing kick-butt service to great people like you!) In 2021, with Cedar Ridge Management having turned into the growing, rewarding company it is, we decided to get out of the Marine Corps and build a management business full time. We are passionate about real estate investing, property management, and walking with people to financial freedom through real estate!

We used Cedar Ridge Management to handle our rental property in Topsail, and they were exactly what we needed. As business owners with a lot on our plate, we needed someone we could fully trust to manage the property without pulling our attention away from our day-to-day work.
What stood out most about Avery and Schuyler was how they treated the property like it was their own. They made thoughtful decisions, communicated clearly, and took initiative every step of the way. It felt less like a business transaction and more like a true partnership.
Highly recommend if you're looking for hands-off, reliable, and personal property management.

The Cedar Ridge Management company, personifies the excellent service, mall town hospitality and professionalism, you would come to imagine, while living on the Coastal North Carolina region. Whether one is ne need of emergency repairs, requests, or finding new properties, through their dedication and hard work, and by maintaining the highest standards and competence, Its amazing staff, such as Avery Witt (Owner), Dominick Beach, and other members of their company, will always be there to assist you through their actions and make sure that you are provided the highest standards of living as well as, always put a smile on your face.

I have been incredibly satisfied with Cedar Ridge Management over multiple years. They allow me to be nearly completely hands off, while receiving continuous returns on my investment property. When my input is required, they are extremely professional and efficient. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
