I am just approaching my first anniversary as a first time homeowner. I feel an obligation to thank the people at Tomo Mortgage for making it a reality, given that I had no experience about the home buying process I needed people to walk me through and explain the process , Tomorrow done exactly that. I felt a personal connection with the Tomo guys, given that I am a single working parent I felt I may not have qualified for approval. They use technology to make everything easier. They were able to see my account history, verify downpayment, and even take my ID through their simple online portal. They had everything ready a full 3 weeks before close. They looked out for me and helped me pick the best loan that met my needs. Fantastic. All mortgage companies could learn from Tomo.

As a first-time home buyer, I felt like I didn't know anything. I had initially gone with another lender that was recommended to me. However, a little ways into the process, I checked out Tomo and discovered that they were more flexible and responsive and best of all, I could save a chunk of change. I worked with Michael, who was responsive and informative. He helped me get a good rate, good terms, lower costs, and even pitched in the appraisal fee that I had paid the other lender. I did have a few snags that pushed the closing right up to the last second where the closer from Tomo was unresponsive to the lawyer who was handling the transaction. I had to reach out to the closer myself to get traction. So, I suggest that you stay on top of things and make sure that you are proactive in your communication. All in all, I will recommend Tomo.

In an industry filled with over promises , confusion, and all types of random fees. Tomo was the most responsive, easiest to work with, and most trustworthy lender I had engaged with. Ask for Craig Smith who would reply to my emails, calls, and texts at all hours and helped me feel in good hands throughout the whole process. He was able to rate match as well, and unlike others who can take forever to confirm a rate match he confirmed and locked it in 2 hours!
