As a first-time home buyer, I felt like I didn't know anything. I had initially gone with another lender that was recommended to me. However, a little ways into the process, I checked out Tomo and discovered that they were more flexible and responsive and best of all, I could save a chunk of change. I worked with Michael, who was responsive and informative. He helped me get a good rate, good terms, lower costs, and even pitched in the appraisal fee that I had paid the other lender. I did have a few snags that pushed the closing right up to the last second where the closer from Tomo was unresponsive to the lawyer who was handling the transaction. I had to reach out to the closer myself to get traction. So, I suggest that you stay on top of things and make sure that you are proactive in your communication. All in all, I will recommend Tomo.
