John was very helpful with application for my husband and myself. The process really wasn't long for go through but we're some hiccups along the way but we managed to get through it in the long run. And John Perez would phone to find out certain things from my family. We appreciate everything he has done.

Update 1/28/25
I was charged $1500 for a water bill. I just found out it was the toilet that was left running (must have got jammed). The only people that were in there were these guys' workers who checked and worked on the house. How do I know that used the restroom you ask? I went to check the house after the work was done and found left over toilet paper rolls in the trash cans outside. They didn't have the decency to make sure the water wasn't running before they left. Response from the company? "We regret to inform you that he utility company did not approve a discount on the bill." In other words, you're stuck with the bill and we won't be providing any help. Hey, I get that it's on me as the owner but man, it's just another example of their lack of care for the customer.
FAIR WARNING:
UNLESS YOUR PROPERTY IS MOVE-IN READY EXPECT TO BE PUT ON THE BOTTOM OF THEIR PRIORITY LIST. They were the worse service provider company I have ever worked with (and I have had to deal with xfinity lol but yes, worse).
Reasons:
1. They either need to hire more employees to handle the amount of properties they manage or they simply prioritize the ones that will make them money the quickest. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand it from a business side that it makes sense but when the feeling of consistent neglect is shown time and time again, its time to reflect on customer experience and not just your bottom line.
2. I paid them over $6000 in total to get my home they were managing to "get ready" for marketing and it took them almost 2 months to start the work. The excuse by the time I started pressing them in Dec was that it was too cold for the workers. I hired these guys at the end of Oct and it took them about a month just to give me a bid to sign off on.
3. I found a potential renter who ended up needing a qualified cosigner but rather than thinking through and working as a team with their business partner services, they had the client pay almost $500 in application fees (if not more). As someone that works in a higher level management, this reflects a huge lack of care for people and was the last straw for me. I understand that we are in this business to make money but there is a line that needs to be drawn which I felt I needed to, so I ended up firing them as my property manager provider as they did not align with the vision I fight to show my clients.
4. Don't expect them to take responsibility. After days and weeks of trying to resolve some of these things and at the very least hoping to hear some responsibility taken, all I heard was excuses and empty promises.
I'm sure the people working there are great people as I appreciated talking to John, Jun, Chase and Albert when I did get a hold of them but how the entire thing is managed is very below par.

My apartment was recently placed under new ownership with PMI Indianapolis, and since day one, they have been nothing but flexible, courteous, compassionate, and caring towards all of my needs as a tenant. Sarrah Candelario helped me in a tight situation and I will be forever thankful. All the staff that I have communicated with have been patient and understanding and will go out of their way to keep their tenants happy

As a future social worker with one of my ethics being “dignity and worth of the person” I feel the need to scream to the world and especially my fellow low income communities in Indianapolis to NEVER LIVE UNDER PMI INDIANAPOLIS because everyone is worth millions of times more then how they are going to treat you. They practically seek out to make their tenants live in the worse conditions possible while overcharging at the same time. My issues with them started less then a week into living in their unit. They completely failed to get this unit ready occupancy as it began to flood a week in due to MULTIPLE plumbing issues. I will provide pictures at the end. When the flooding started I was met with the absolute worst maintenance communication ever. I had to fight to get someone over to fix things. It took a month to get this issue solved with me calling every single day with inches of water on my floor. The plumbing issues did not stop after the flooding was fixed. Then the kitchen sink kept overflowing with water and for weeks we had to scoop it from the sink to the tub so it wouldn’t overflow because no one would come and help. Then the tub and toilet filled up with others people dirty poop water. Also took forever to fix. You could also tell this unit has mold in the walls based on the air quality but you could also see it but the bottom of the bathroom sink. Overall pmi will scam you into the most money they can get and have you in a unit with a bunch of issues literally affecting the ability to live. No one deserves this. The only picture I currently cant find is of the mold, but my explanation and these pictures are here in my effort to have the least amount of people possible to be tortured by pmi like I was.
