lol so. I didn’t sign anything with them, I would recommend not signing anything. I would also recommend measuring any space they manage. They fully lied about the dimensions of the rooms on the listing for the unit I saw. 20x18’? Literally 18x12. Waste of my time, and their predatory fee structure is just red flag city. The listing agent was very sweet I’m giving the two stars just for her, the rest of the company seem to be worse than average landlords who like to make places look expensive to trick you into thinking their fees are worth it.

After speaking with different people from this company, I informed them that my credit score was 550 but that I would be using my section 8 voucher for rental payment. I was told directly by an agent that my credit would not be an issue and to go ahead and schedule the showing. When I arrive to the property there were three other people waiting to see the house, two of which had their own realtors. I was told to wait outside until the realtors were finished and that my credit had to be a minimum of $600 to even be considered. Another family had approached us during this conversation and heard everything between myself and the agent. They proceeded to say they asked the same questions to whomever they spoke to to arrange the showing and were told exactly the same thing. Just to add, this family had a newborn baby that they got out of their car and covered with a blanket before approaching my conversation. This company is extremely unprofessional, they will book multiple people at the same time for viewings to create a bidding war, and they lie and do not give accurate information causing an extreme waste of time and gas on my, and hopefully not your, behalf..

RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN! They do not stay true to their word. We were informed to get a co-signer (which we did) for one of the properties listed and one day later they claimed someone else was approved first. Additionally, they informed my co-signer that her application could be held for another property if we were interested and they call back an hour later to state we don’t qualify for none of the properties. A BIG JOKE! This company scams people out of application fees and is nowhere to be found when you need to contact them. They can’t provide any services that they list on their website besides taking application fees and denying people. I guarantee the property that they “claimed” to be taken will be on the market for months ahead. Do not give these people your time or money. They’ll find every reason to deny!!!

I was under GC realty for two years and I can honestly say they’re the best company I have ever had the pleasure of calling my property management company. They’re extremely responsive, compassionate, caring, attentive and the peeps over at GC realty truly have a heart. They helped me out when I was in a time of need and I’ll never forget them for that. One time I thought I had a problem with earwigs (not knowing it’s a seasonal thing) (listen, I don’t do bugs) and they were so quick to help me find a solution to get rid of them. Their customer service from Shania was outstanding, every single exchange was so kind and friendly. Mauricio was also so helpful, and again, very quick, and Enrique! Everyone made me feel so comfortable I never dreaded speaking to anyone. I will miss GC realty so much, I wish I could follow them to their next adventure! -Claire
