As far as emergencies over a holiday break goes… Howzer was fantastic. They were prompt, thorough and the contractors sent to my residence were professional and superb. A fine property management company.

The “emergency line” for after hours does not work. We hsve had a flood, our refrigerator lose power, and lost heat multiple times (in freezing temperatures) outside of normal business hours and have not been able to reach anyone. If you have an emergency outside of 8 AM to 5 PM monday-friday good luck you’re going to have to wait. When reaching out to the company about making these situations right they have spat in our faces. We will be contacting the board of health.

Company is extremely difficult to deal with an unreliable. We have had several emergencies throughout our time with them including the heat going out in single digit temperatures multiple times and nobody can be reached after business hours. Completely unprofessional and don’t care about their tenants at all!

We have lived in one of this management’s propertys for years now. Multiple times per winter our pilot light goes out and we have no heat. Tonight is another example and we have been on the line with the emergency number for 20 minutes with no success. Its rediculous the company is near impossible to reach with any issues you have with your property. Another night sleeping in a 30 degree house with no assistance from management.

Maintenance on the electrical socket was completed promptly by Tyler Hopkins. He was very knowledgeable about the work to be done and gave me some helpful advice. I highly recommend Tyler and his group in the future.

I had a maintenance issue with my smoke detector it kept going off all day and night. I contacted Jordene and she got back to me within minutes and kept checking on my progress with the technician until the problem was solved. She is very kind and helpful.

I always read reviews before conducting business and if I’m going to rent somewhere I need to know who I’m renting from so meeting them in person is very critical. With that said I reached out to this company to book a viewing and the sent me a message about code for self viewing 😏🤔 omg since this Covid thing these people been taking advantage of people and is so sad and there nowhere to get any justice the housing market has gone rogue and people busy talking about trump and Kamala and don’t even realize we all soon be homeless 🥱

This company is terrible with their communication... I helped my mom apply for a home that Howzer Property Management had listed for rent. We were able to visit the property ourselves with a self access code which was great, but the lack of communication that this company had made us glad that she did not get the home. She ultimately did not get the property and this review is in no way a reflection of that as we understand the market and that houses go fast. We did however try to call Howzer Property Management multiple times during the process to just try to get a couple of quick questions answered and no one answered the phone. Instead, they have a voicemail set up that tells you to text a number that only sometimes gets responded to. There is also no email address or contact form listed on their website so we had to wait until we received an email from Monica (AFTER applying) to be able to contact anyone seeing as they do not answer calls or many texts. My mom and I each tried to email Monica and neither of us received a response. I recommend only applying to one of their properties if you have no questions at all, are willing to spend a non-refundable $25-40+ on the application, are fine waiting multiple days to hear if your application has been approved or not, and are ok not actually ever speaking to anyone/getting a response to calls/text/emails. If you try to contact them through any of the real estate listing websites (ie. Zillow, Redfin, etc.), they do not read your message and every response is a link to a self-scheduling site for viewing a property. It would have been nice just to receive responses back.
