Unfortunately, some were hasty and not very friendly. Moving from out of state is already nerve-wracking, but Kelly made the entire process so much easier and truly put my mind at ease. Smart Move is truly the best company to rent from! Kelly specifically has been nothing but amazing. We rented previously from another company and it was a horrible experience, we were nervous at first but quickly realized that this company was not the same as the other. Any issues we have had were addressed immediately. We have mainly worked with Kelly and she has always been very kind and extremely helpful. I am very thankful for this rental company and the people that work there. I would highly recommend renting from this company!

Smart Move provides an oustanding service! They pay attention to every detail, from making sure your sprinklers are winterized on time to send a Christmas present to your tenants. I'm glad of having switched to Smart Move PM. They provide all what I expect from a PM company.

I would give 0 Stars if I could. This review is specifically for Kelly at Smart Move Property Management. After two years of paying rent two weeks early every single month and being loyal tenants, we requested a three-month lease extension to align with the completion of our new home in December. Kelly told us that such an arrangement would "screw over" the owners and flatly denied our request. This was especially upsetting because our homeowners had always been incredibly kind and understanding, knowing we have a child with autism and a newborn. When I questioned Kelly and asked to confirm with the owners directly, she became defensive, citing contract terms and even threatening "consequences." Only recently did we find out why: Kelly lied. The owners were actually fine with our request, but Kelly refused to accommodate us because it would have been extra work for her. As a result, we were forced to move out in September, and the home has remained vacant since then—causing the owners to lose over $8,000 in rent. Ironically, the same owners have now fired Smart Move due to their mismanagement. Kelly's actions not only hurt us as a family but also did significant financial damage to the property owners she was supposed to represent. This isn't just our experience—look at other negative reviews, and you'll see a clear pattern of defensiveness and a lack of accountability from Smart Move. When they are challenged or caught in wrongdoing, they double down instead of taking responsibility. This company does not prioritize the interests of either tenants or owners—it prioritizes what is easiest for them. Avoid them at all costs.

We love being able to clean for Smart Move! We have been a vendor for them for a couple years and truly enjoy the efficient system they use when working with us. Always communicative, you can tell they care about their tenant, and they make sure to pay attention to us as well!

Smartmove PM is professional and helped maintain my property for 5 years. They took care of huge requests from tenants daily and weekly. As an investment, it would be better to find professional PM to take care of your investment. Lots of my friends finally move to smart move PM after several years with different PM company or agency. Highly suggest to give a try.

Very professional and thorough. We hadn't rented in over 30 years, but we needed to rent for a year or two while we wait for two properties to sell. Kelly and her team were very courteous, responsive and respectful. They were also very thorough in vetting us as tenants, which impressed me since we are also landlords of a home we own near Boise. I would feel well protected if they were managing our rental property. The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars is there never were any options to negotiate, to ask for a longer lease, or to modify the lease that was completely on a "take it or leave it" basis where we had to point out little things, such as the lease declaring all windows had window coverings, when they simply didn't, etc., and there was no way to note that on the lease. As a retired attorney, I don't trust others easily, but Smart Move is doing a good job so far.
