What a nightmare. Genuinely such an awful experience. Moving for the first time for anyone should be at least somewhat of a good experience, freeing, a lesson to learn, etc. But the only lesson I learned is to not rent with KeyRenters. Our manager Olivia was a sweetheart and did try her absolute best to help with our move, but key renters as a whole should have done a better job inspecting the property before even thinking it was livable! If they had done one thorough check they would have found so many problem areas! Our first issue with our home was the a/c completely not working in the middle of a heat wave where our house temperature got over 90+ degrees. Sure, whatever there’s going to be issues here and there. The person they sent out pretty much told us he couldn’t do anything and that he would have to stop by another 3+ times. Get this, when it was eventually “fixed” (which it still never worked properly) the a/c began to freeze over and leak onto the ceiling of our separate room, making the ceiling begin to crack and start slowly falling in, and who knows what started growing in the wet ceiling! Our second issue was with the plumbing; or lack of thereof. Both bathtubs were absolutely filled to the brim with sewage and there was a lack of emergency response to this. A plumber was sent out to again “fix the problem” but they both backed up multiple more times even up until the few days before our lease termination. Yall, when I tell you the smell alone made the house unlivable. And the worst part - No one was ever sent out to clean it, not once. The plumber word for word said “that’s not part of his job.” And so my poor roommate was forced to clean this biohazard up all my herself. Our third issue was NONE OF THE WINDOWS OPENED, they’re literally painted shut and there was not a single fire alarm in the house. I’d also like to mention that the deadbolt on the door broke off completely by closing the door like once. In addition, neither of the bedroom doors closed as the clasping mechanism was lower than the actual door part. The icing on the cake is that during a storm, water began to fill the floor of the kitchen up. Yay, right? Yeah the entire wood surrounding the window was rotten away, badly enough that that’s the part that keyrenters decided the house was unlivable after telling us multiple times that the house was fine and denying our rent concession for the hours of work we both had to miss to manage these fixes on our own and also since the house was quite literally unlivable. The only offer they gave us was a lease termination within about a month, and didn’t offer any sort of extra time for us to be situated anywhere else, even for a few days. Thank you Keyrenters for the valuable lessons I learned for my first time renting and what NOT to look for next time. ☺️ Genuine thanks to Olivia though, this was not her fault and she was a sweetheart.

I was pretty shocked to be asked to review after the experiences I had, but I wish I would have listened to the hundreds of negative reviews. We had to terminate our lease 9 months early due to unlivable conditions that were unable to be resolved. We had no A/C during 100+ temps upon moving in, in waiting for it to be resolved, we had sewage back up into both bathtubs multiple times and after days of waiting on a hazmat cleaning crew, had to clean this up myself. Mold began to develop on the ceiling due to the leaking A/C unit, as temps dropped we had no heat in the home, and after going back and forth with this management company for months the homeowner decided the A/C would not be repaired, and we were offered no rental concessions, only given a month to vacate the property (in the middle of winter) if we wanted to end the lease early. Not to mention the broken doors, outside locks that were all but useless, no smoke detectors, and windows that did not open. Go through someone else and SAVE YOUR TIME. You're welcome :) **editing my review to add that the issues were present upon move in. My roommate and I had no way of knowing there were so many issues before signing the lease, but a property inspector would have known. Every professional we had come service the issues was shocked that this home was leased in the condition it was.

I had an issue with the WiFi initially, but the property management team went above and beyond to resolve it quickly. The staff was responsive, clarified the situation, and provided direct contact information to ensure everything was addressed smoothly. I’m very appreciative of their effort and the great customer service they’ve shown. Highly recommend this team for their commitment to residents!

I’m not happy with the house due to the fact the house was not move in ready. For 14 days I have been without water to bathe, clean or wash dishes. For 13 days I have been eating out. I want compensation for my health(spider bites ) and lost of money. Almost all electrical outlets are capped off. Air ducts painted over. I can’t open for heat or air. Rats in garage and house. Bath tub doesn’t have a drain cover over hole. It needs a drain so that nothing will fall into it. I’m held responsible for plumbing issues. Spider webs everywhere. No screen door on the front or the back and window screens need to be replaced. Paint on floors, can’t tell if it’s dirt or paint. The house was not clean at all. Garage door is bent and open for rats and any other insects. I want to install a genie on garage but I can’t due to bent garage door.

I know it’s some bad reviews but I did rent a property from KeyRenters. The process was easy and hassle free. I did like that whenever I needed to have a maintenance call it was taken care of within 24/48hrs. The only thing I absolutely hated was there wasn’t any grace period on the rent payment. It is due on the 1st and late on the 2nd, not the 3rd or the 4th like some places. Make sure you have payments beforehand or it’ll be a late fee. My condo was in a super good spot in Tulsa & the neighborhood was quiet. I had to end my lease a month early than expected but it was on good & mutual terms. I would rent from them again because I did have a good experience with them.
