Avoid Chicago Style Maintenance - Unprofessional and Unreliable I had an extremely disappointing experience with Chicago Style Maintenance. Despite numerous attempts to address outstanding issues, my concerns were met with silence and disregard. The lack of communication was only the beginning of a series of unprofessional behaviors. I discovered unsupported charges for lease renewal fees totaling over $3,500. There were duplicate charges for services like key replacements, with refunds promised but never processed. Additionally, unauthorized insurance charges were applied to my account—and worse, these continued to accrue even after the termination of property management services. Their billing practices were especially concerning. Utility charges were incorrectly applied, including charges for (a) properties no longer under their management, (b) properties that had already been leased out, where tenants were responsible for paying their own utilities under their lease agreements, and, (c) outrageously, other people’s properties (that is, to be clear, I was being charged utilities bills for properties that did not belong to me)! In some cases, charges were made without any supporting documentation, such as questionable pest control services and unexplained lock replacement charges. There were also multiple cases of duplicate maintenance charges, maintenance charges that continued well after termination requests, and maintenance charges exceeding agreed limits without prior approval. When I tried to resolve these issues, emails and calls went unanswered, reflecting a clear lack of accountability. I am currently pursuing legal and administrative/regulatory remedies. If you’re considering using their services, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. There are far more reliable and transparent property management companies out there. Chicago Style Maintenance has proven to be both untrustworthy and unprofessional.

The team is AWESOME! The guys did a Great job on my toilet. It was leaking after every flush from the bottom. Oscar , his dad and the crew didn’t stop until it leaked no more. They walked me through each detail and I actually understood the process. They showed respect and even put covering over their shoes before entering my house. . They were friendly and respectful and they didn’t take all day! They know their craft! Thanks Guys!

This is by far the best rental agency there is in the city of Chicago. I would recommend them to anyone rather it’s renting or being a property manager. Great staff and good communication!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would! Nothing but issues with this place, no regard for safety at all, and unprofessional property managers especially the lady Lucretia. They had ppl come pull up my roof 2 weeks ago, they put a trap down and never came back. Well guess what my ceiling just fell with my son laying in his bed. This is only the latest issue. I CAN NOT WAIT TO MOVE!!
