I am a local real estate investor, Realtor and real estate brokerage owner and Taxstra/Bryan acquired my previous CPA that I had used for years. We decided that we would stay with Taxstra for 1 year before we made a decision to look for a new CPA or stay with Taxstra. We did not make it the full year before deciding Taxstra was not a good fit. From the beginning the communication with both Taxstra and Bryan was very lacking. Bryan was extremely rude to my staff in almost every interaction. He represented himself as a real estate CPA but did not bring any new knowledge to the table. After leaving Taxstra we had our personal taxes along with some of our rental returns examined by another CPA and found over $1600 in missed refunds, we are now having everything examined. I think Bryan and Taxstra could be good in the future however they need a few more years of experience before I could ever recommend them to an investor client or landlord.
