Misty and her team are amazing!! They really helped me out and have the best customer service! I hope to never rent from another company besides them! Definitely recommend!

Everyone I worked with was efficient at their job and I got approved and moved in quickly. But 3 stars because there is a dead mouse under the sink surrounded by mouse droppings, lots of dead bugs in the light fixtures, the carpet was full of animal fur, the bathtub was disgusting and dirty. The fan in the kitchen is cloaked in dirt and dust. I have a lot of cleaning to do when I fully move in but my first night, we couldn’t stay there. We had to go to a hotel. There is a renters fee that’s in addition to paying the rent and I wish it would have just been apart of the rent payment. And you also have to have renters insurance. It’s a lot of little things to remember but still affordable. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors seem friendly.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. They completely screwed me over. They moved me from the original apartment I signed for and put me in the trashiest grossest apartment ever. I moved in and the apartment was disgusting. They hadn’t cleaned, there were holes and trash everywhere, and it’s infested with spiders and roaches. Plus they didn’t even turn on the electricity on for me for a week. They refuse to fix anything and refuse to spray for the bugs. I’m moving out as soon as my contract is up. Never EVER rent from them unless you want your life to be a living hell.

I have had SO many questions, and needed a lot of help through this process. They have been absolutely wonderful in guiding me through and answering any and all questions I had! This has been a very difficult time for my son and I, and I could not have asked for a better experience finding and moving into our beautiful new home! I love the tenant portal and the way I was guided step-by-step on the move in process and utility bill setup process. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family in the future!

There is no on call plumber! We had to go a whole weekend not being able to use the toilet or shower bc the neighbors have kids that are flushing stuff they’re not supposed to causing it to back up on our side. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

STAY AWAY FROM - DO NOT RENT FROM!!! This company will not repair, communicate or take care of A/C issues, roofing, garage doors or any other maintenance issues!!! The management company and property owners will screw you over !!!’ STAY AWAY FROM !!! Try HubCityRentals or Location Rentals in Lubbock!!!!

When neighbor moved out they power washed all of their yard dirt/mud right into my yard and driveway. Minnix was able to get it back looking good. Better than when I moved in town.

Absolute worst rental experience. 1. Raised rent by maximum amount every year 2. Never made improvements to the property, only minor fixes 3. Charged us for carpet cleaning when they said they would be removing the carpets anyways because they were so old and naturally worn out (they should have been replaced before we ever even moved in) 4. Charged us for cleaning the fridge and dishwasher - I'll let you judge by the photos if they should have charged us over $100 for this. 5. At the end - they tried to charge us more than 1 months rent for us to move out. We cleaned that place to be spotless (except for defects beyonds our control or from previous renters). They are even charging us for hard water build up on the bathtub and toilet bowl, that even with hard scrubbing - we couldn't get to come off. I bet they couldn't either. It's just normal use unless you add a water softener to your property. They only care about money. not people. I'll tell everyone that will listen that Minnix is the worst place to rent from ever. I literally moved down the street to an IDENTICAL apartment - am paying LESS RENT, getting FREE INTERNET and actually have clean quality carpets. Minnix isn't competitive. They also try to pay people with giveaways for reviews. be skeptical of any 5 star reviews. I'm sure there are some people that have good experiences, but not that many. I know I'm not alone in my disdain of this scummy company. Please see their lists of absolutely insane fees attached.
