Before joining Compass Realty, he worked alongside fortune 500 companies on the national level for a leading building materials manufacturer. Part of his previous role as a channel marketing specialist was to work with remodelers, builders, and architects. Thus, his passion for working in residential real estate was born. Graduating with a degree in Marketing at Illinois State University and certified in communication, presenting, and sales training. His experience from previous roles and his academic background have given him a platform to flourish in his current industry. He is tenacious and determined to complete any task at hand and has established himself as an excellent team player and highly motivated individual. He prides himself on having a strong work ethic, ensuring that anyone he works with will find their dream home or will receive the best return of investment for their sold property. "Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person" is his mantra and is why he goes above and beyond for every client he works with. He's inspired by his grandfather, Roger "Bud" Flanik, who was a Major in the Air Force and was awarded five Air Medals for his bravery during the Vietnam War. He is reminded on a daily basis of his courage and strength during his time as a war veteran, that if you put your mind towards something, anything can be achieved. He is born and bred in Chicago and currently resides in Irving Park with his wife Elise and daughter Sienna. When he isn't working, you can find him jet-setting around the world. In a few words: hyper-competent, extremely trustworthy, and deeply knowledgeable.
I’ve used Jarret twice now - both to buy, and to sell my place…and I will probably hire him to help me with every real estate transaction I have moving forward.
Jarret is one of those rare agents who is somehow deeply knowledgeable about everything, extremely trustworthy, and hard working when you need it.
I didn’t know much about the whole process of selling a house but he was able to walk me through it, assure me whenever there were problems and get it done. I had somewhat of a unique situation and he handled everything. It could have gone really poorly but he was able to get it all figured out.
I highly highly recommend to whomever is reading this: hire Jarret and the team. He’s going to get the job done and he’s the kind of guy that you can trust to have it done right.
