About us
Hi, I’m Mia Taylor, an Enrolled Agent credentialed to practice before the IRS to represent clients before the IRS regarding their tax matters or tax strategies implemented. I am also the founder of Mia Taylor Advisors. MTA was inspired by my father, a real estate investor, and trucking entrepreneur who excelled in closing deals but struggled with finances and taxes. Therefore, I decided to become a Tax Accountant and later attended Law School with a license as an Enrolled Agent. I know firsthand the challenges real estate investors face, especially when it comes to tax planning and saving money. My mission? To bridge the gap for those seeking expert tax advice, ensuring they get the attention and expertise they deserve. HICO Tax and its owner Mia Taylor are absolutely phenomenal. She is very knowledgeable and her team are extremely professional and proficient. She made setting up my business easy. I do not trust anyone other than HICO Tax to handle my bookkeeping and and tax needs. HICO is a must have for any business owner! You will not be disappointed.

Horrible experience. I paid $1,450 for two tax strategy sessions with Mia and received inaccurate information and advice. I'm a business owner and Mia told me I could put 45K into a retirement fund as a company match to lower taxable income. After the transfer was initiated, I was contacted by the 3rd party payroll company and advised that Mia's advice wasn't possible because it violated IRS guidelines for 401k. Instead of a 45K match, we could only match up to $5k. Not only is this a huge difference, but it also significantly increased my income taxes. I have posted similar reviews about my experience and have been threatened with legal action for speaking out. I 1,000% DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.

Mia is awesome! She went above and beyond to ensure accuracy of my tax return. She was able to explain complex tax law regulations in an understandable way and was always available to answer any questions I had. If you’re thinking of getting a tax preparer, work with her and you won’t regret it! I look forward to working with HICO Tax again in the future!

Excellent experience - quick, responsive, detailed, clear. Mia even helped identify new tax strategies I can use moving forward and She is so kindly working on fixing my mistakes from last year. haha I'll certainly work with HICO Tax & Consulting Services again.

I was extremely pleased that I was led to HICO Tax & Consulting Services this year. Mia was very patient and went above and beyond by jumping on 3-way calls with me to obtain needed tax documents.
She supported me in a way which made me feel cared for and she ended up saving me a huge amount on my tax returns.
I would highly recommend her for any consulting or tax needs. She’s not just knowledgeable, but she genuinely has your best interests in mind.

The one things I came away with was more knowledge of information that I didn't know was available to me , being able to find someone that is patient with me and skilled in there profession is why I would recommend Hicotax thank you for you assistance ,
