As president of my small (18 unit) condominium it's been a bit of a challenge to find a management company that is in the right cost/service/communication window. I found that with BPM and Michael.
Even before they were officially onboarded they jumped on a few high urgency items our previous management company left us high and dry on, which I greatly, greatly appreciate.
If you're in the market for new management for your building don't hesitate to reach out to BPM and start a conversation. You'll be happy you did.

Incredibly professional, trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a property manager that actually cares, treats everyone with respect, and doesn't just phone it in like so many others.

I was in the process of purchasing a condo at Seaview Estate. Just three days before closing, I was informed that I needed board approval. Joanna was incredibly supportive, and thanks to her help, I received the approval.

The intercom to my apt was not working. Michael assisted me with this matter in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner.
The workers who came were also very polite. He explained everything to me in details about what needed to be done, and returned to complete the job in a timely manner.
Great Job done👍🏿

My experience working with this management company far surpassed standard expectations. From my very first communication with Michael Sorensen, it's obvious to see he truly cares about his clients and ensures they feel comfortable and taken care of. He offers transparent and accurate information, taking pride in his work. Very admirable to see these days! Michael sincerely and kindly connects with people, proven to me by communicating with his other clients. Even after his work realtor work is complete, he still maintains an ongoing relationship with the tenants. This demonstrates what a solid management company this is and allows you to rest assured you are in (and will be) in good hands. Whatever business model they use, stands apart from the norm- and does not go unnoticed. They provide a refreshing approach to the real estate industry, and have no doubt, they will be beyond successful with future endeavors.

I have had a very positive experience with Brooklyn Property Managers. The Senior Property Manager, Michael Sorenson, has consistently been responsive, available, and willing to communicate with fidelity my interests to the owner. I don't know what all went on behind the scenes; what I do know is that I got the exact lease renewal terms I wanted, even after having missed the original deadline set by the owner.
Renting in NYC is not for the faint-hearted. Having Brooklyn Property Managers manage my building and be the go-between with the owner has made my NYC renting experience this time around a pleasantly surprisingly non-stressful one.

After venting my frustrations to Trust Management, the owner changed companies to Brooklyn Property Management. I let them know since December the SAME ISSUES had NEVER been corrected. Then I come home today and HOW is there dirt all in the entrance of my apartment? And the hallway? Absolutely nothing has been fixed. Let HPD continue to fine them.
List of complaints:
No smoke detector.
No carbon monoxide detector.
Floor uneven, scratched up,missing chunks of wood.
Random scuff marks and scratches throughout the apartment
Mold
Dryer vent not attached to venting hose so hot air pours into my apartment
Door to back patio doesn't lock. No surprise that there're people breaking in
Buzzer doesn't work
Water temp gets to 147° F. Enjoy burning yourself.
Holes have been spackled over. BUT not sanded down. Not painted over.
Came home today to a bunch of plant debris in my apartment.
Water leaks from the ceiling in the front hallway.
Leaky dishwasher.
Random paint splatters all throughout.
Trust Management is aware of this and has been since September. BPM is aware of this and has been since December. It's now May.
