Editing my review again to an 1 star .. if I could give less I would. The agency never showed up at 10am so we could view the apartment. Absolutely unorganized, unprofessional, and tacky.
Edited my review because I did receive a call back after posting a negative review. The gentleman, Ian, was very polite, very helpful, and gave me idiotic proof directions on how to schedule the tours. The link must not work in the Zillow app with different iPhones. I couldn’t even copy the link, but it was working for Ian who is helping me. So I’m not sure what’s going on with that.
Multiple rentals listed on Zillow, I have inquired about several of them. I get an automatic message with a link to click on- link does not work from the message and will not allow me to copy and paste. I’ve messaged them multiple times regarding this issue and no response. Their phone number never allows you to get a real person on the phone.

I had an appointment with Renshaw to view a rental property at 585 S. McLean on Monday, February 24th at 3:30 PM. I arrived early (3:10 PM) and found another prospective renter there, also waiting for their 3:00 PM appointment. Neither of us were met by an agent, despite both receiving confirmation emails and text messages earlier that day. Eventually, the other person received a text saying the agent was sick—but I never received any notification at all.
Frustrated, I drove to Renshaw’s office to get some answers. I spoke with Jake (white dude, hair down to his waist) and another woman (white, brown hair, glasses) who was shockingly rude and dismissive. Jake, to his credit, offered to show me the property right away. I agreed and immediately drove back to 585 S. McLean—but Jake never showed up.
Since Renshaw doesn’t provide a direct phone number, I had to call multiple numbers from their website just to reach someone. Eventually, I spoke with Stephon, who called Jake for an update. I was then told that Jake had already been to the property, waited for me until 5 PM, and left—a blatant lie, as it was physically impossible for him to have arrived before 5 PM due to travel time alone.
This experience was an absolute waste of time and showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability. If this is how they treat potential renters, I can only imagine how poorly they manage their properties. Avoid this company if you value your time and sanity.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Melissa. Her promptness and persistence in communication was top tier as opposed to other company's I've endured on this home search journey. She made the process so smooth and followed up each time after contact! 10/10 Melissa

What I like about Renshaw is the staff. There are really hardworking people here. It is not an easy feat to please everyone. Not going to call out names but initals - MY, JR & LP. Thank you for your efforts over the years. Have always respected the professionalism I have received from these individuals. As a renter that has felt wronged at times, I can honestly say my opinions were heard and solutions were offered.
My husband and I have rented 3 different Memphis properties from Renshaw over 5+years . Some good years, some bad years as a renter. Compared to other property management companies in Memphis, Renshaw at least tries to be fair. The properties and neighborhoods have varied in conditions and saftey but that is more of a reflection on the city not the company. Be aware you are in Memphis when picking a house, location is key. I always recommend driving the neighborhood at night and trying to meet the neighbors, will save you from having some bad experiences.

The Renshaw folks are the most amazing organization I have ever dealt with. They are a single point of all your home repair/remodeling needs with the work done quickly and an amazing cleanup. They are saved as a favorite in my phone directory for all of my home contractor needs.

I have been dealing with Renshaw for over 5 years. As a former owner of a large property management firm, my expectations are high. I find Renshaw to be very trustworthy. I'd like to give a particular shout out to Jason Rice, he is my ultimate "go to" for reporting needs. I am always giving last minute and high priority requests for a mutual client with over 30 properties and Jason always executes my request and really makes "my" priority "his" priority. It is definitely not a given and that commitment is why I highly recommend Renshaw to anyone in need of a trustworthy and reliable property management firm. I am a CPA and review my client's statements in detail and have not detected any errors or misstatements on the reports which is also less of a job that I have to worry about for our mutual client. Thank you Renshaw and Jason for being worthy of this review.

I was new to owning residential rental properties, and didn't know the Memphis area so knew I needed professionals who could advise me and manage my properties. After researching and interviewing several management firms I selected Renshaw Company, Realtors and could not be more pleased.
From the start when I first visited, the management team was excited to meet me and gave of their time in a relaxed manner - not a rushed interview.
Over the next two years they advised me on properties I was interested in, steering me through the maze of bad and good neighborhoods to help me purchase rentable properties.
I'm done buying for now and appreciate their monthly statements and updates, how they communicate regarding needed repairs, their proactive maintenance programs, and handling of tenants and leases. They keep me informed, provide their expertise, but still listen to my requests and suggestions.
As a retiree I'm very happy having such a hard working and professional team on my side.
