Just closed on my first turn-key property through R2R, and the process was super smooth! The R2R team was great with communication, providing guidance and insights, and getting me in touch with the proper resources. Their academy modules and webinars are super helpful as well. As always, please be sure to do your own research and run your own numbers before investing. I did this prior to my R2R purchase to ensure my numbers were in the same range as R2R's projections. Once you do your own due diligence and the numbers check out, its pretty smooth sailing with R2R's support.

Prior to joining the Academy, my husband and I owned a Heating & Air Conditioning company and a coffee shop. This time we decided to diversify and do 3 rehabs in OH and will be closing on those this week. My husband and I have some very aggressive goals with a 5-year game plan. We want to start building generational wealth for our family. The only way we will be able to meet those goals is if we take action. We will be doing a cost seg that will allow us to take advantage of some additional tax savings as well. Once I have the actual numbers I would love to share that info. I think the best advice I can give to everyone is to just take action and don't let your own fears hold you back. Take the information that the RTR Academy can provide to you and apply it.

Rent To Retirement (RTR) is great and trustworthy. The business is well run, they go way beyond what a typical turn key operator does, and their help has been invaluable. I had a little bit of experience in real estate buying, owning, and renting out properties in my own LLC for a couple of years prior to getting re-started with the help of RTR. Now I'm closing on a good SFH rental through them that fulfills my goals in a way that makes sense for me financially. My new business partner and I used RTR to acquire our first out of state property and I couldn’t be happier. We approached Adam with questions about a few markets on their inventory list and were pleasantly surprised when he gave us very honest feedback about each of them and the teams on the ground. I recently partnered up with a long-time friend to start our real estate investment journey. As you can see from the numerous posts below, they are known for their top-notch customer care, which was what initially attracted me to them when selecting my first turnkey operator. I'm glad to report that my experience with the Rent to Retirement team in the time since has been nothing short of stellar. If you’re reading this in your due diligence phase, I don’t want to waste your time with a repeat of anything you’ve already read, so I’ll skip ahead to some specific examples from my own experience that I think best illustrate just how much the RTR team cares about ensuring an excellent customer experience. After a couple of meetings with Zach, he introduced me to Adam Schroeder, who’s one of RTR's investment advisors. Much like Zach, he cares a lot about teaching his clients and making time to meet with them (even on short notice) despite his busy schedule. When I decided which market to make my OOS entry in, Adam connected me with their general contractor/flipper who operates exclusively in that market because he loves the area and has been living and investing there for much of his life. Prior to going under contract, the general contractor was always happy to answer questions about his market, and when it later came time for a review of the inspection reports, he was more than fair in addressing my "punch list” (the list of items you’d like to see addressed prior to the purchase). RTR is a great company, but no matter how polished a team is, no one can promise a totally smooth ride. Things will always go awry. The real measure of a great turnkey provider then is how far they’ll go to stand by their product and their values - how hard they’ll work to earn your trust no matter the cost. I am happy to report that when the chips were down, RTR more than exceeded my expectations in this regard… Immediately after my tenants moved into one of my properties, an unexpected and extremely costly capital expenditure reared it’s head. The sewer line coming from the street was severely blocked by tree roots and needed to be dug up and replaced. For my part, being a newbie to this process, I learned a valuable lesson and will never let my inspector ignore the sewer line ever again! Another turnkey provider may have said “Sorry, tough luck! This is your problem.” But not Zach and his team. They knew that this huge repair would have annihilated my cashflow for years to come, so they stepped in to cover the cost of the repair. I think this experience alone speaks volumes about what type of team this is and how they stand by their houses and that they are invested in YOUR success. I now own two properties though RTR and am so glad that I decided to work with them.

Hello BP Community, I'm from Portland OR, we have a home business and like all other small business owners, my wife and I always have to deal with high tax rates when it comes time to file our year-end taxes. After thinking about it, as Asian Americans, we still choose to go to buy a property as our best investment, but we live in a west coast city and we can't find any house with positive cash flow at all, we stumbled upon RTR on BP once and thought this might be our best choice, of course, property investment is a big life event, we finally after about 6 months of research and investigation, finally in this year In January, we bought a new construction house in Florida. Although I had bought my own home, I was completely unfamiliar with investment houses in foreign states, especially the price of new home construction, and by making an appointment to talk to ZACH, I was able to put down my doubts, and then we bought a canal lot and signed the construction contract. participated in the work, so it was not enough to see on the proof of work income. I thought my first investment home was going to be a bust, but they immediately recommended another lender to me, and this lender approved my application in one day. It's very hard to trust people in this day and age but its good to know that some real gentlemen still exist. As new investors my wife and I had many options to choose from in the RE space. Eric saved my deal. I have been working on building my portfolio in Indianapolis. I recently had an appraisal that came in well under the initial purchase agreement. Eric was able to coordinate between me and the seller to save the deal. I ultimately ended up with a great deal with great numbers. This is all due to Eric.

I've been working with Zach & RTR for a few years now, and have only the highest recommendation to leave for them. With their assistance I purchased 2 properties in 2016 in Columbus OH for $94k and $97k. I just put them on contract for $150k and $160k! Rent to Retirement has provided me a great baseline for my first rental property. The negotiated a great lending option for me to come in as an investor and purchase the property with a low down payment to further leverage my funds for additional transactions. I found Zach through BP about 6 months ago. I am an out of country investor, looking to find some buy&hold properties. I spoke with a lot of different groups mentioned on BP (Norada, SpartanInvest, etc), but settled on Zach for a couple reasons. He explained everything to me like I was a 5 year old (upon my request!), and he didn’t try to overpromise on anything. While the other groups probably would have worked out fine, I just felt comfortable with Zach’s approach. The process was fairly painless. He sent over a few links to inventory that he is marketing, and I kept researching the areas and reviewing the links every few days. He put me in contact with a lender that I also felt comfortable with. After a couple months, I found the right SFH and put it under contract. At that point Zach handed off the details to the turn key provider (AWB in Birmingham). There were a few small hiccups here and there, but Zach was there to step in and get things settled immediately. The house appraised for a bit above the purchase price, and the loan closed on Feb 19. I put a renter in the house in June. We eventually lowered the rent $55/month from the expected rent ($1,350 to 1,295), which I am ok with, but was quite frustrating at the time. I continue to monitor properties for rent in the area, and I feel that if I was a bit more patient or did a few exterior cosmetic fixes (trim trees, etc) then I could have got the $1,350. Overall, I think Zach is a great guy to work with and I would definitely recommend him for a 1st time out of state REI.

(I do recommended you talking to multiple turnkey providers so you will know the difference between Zack and others) I felt comfortable with Zack. Prior to joining the Academy, my husband and I owned a Heating & Air Conditioning company and a coffee shop. We knew we wanted to have something that would allow up to build a more passive income and give us greater tax advantages. Rent To Retirement (RTR) is great and trustworthy. The business is well run, they go way beyond what a typical turn key operator does, and their help has been invaluable. I had a little bit of experience in real estate buying, owning, and renting out properties in my own LLC for a couple of years prior to getting re-started with the help of RTR. Now I'm closing on a good SFH rental through them that fulfills my goals in a way that makes sense for me financially. Folks at RTR worked with me, had conversations and emails with me that were very in depth. They worked hard to understand my business goals, and provided solutions that work perfectly for my business. My new business partner and I used RTR to acquire our first out of state property and I couldn’t be happier.
