The office in Fairbanks is not managed properly. The Viking apartments that they have been contracted with.has been ripping some of the most loyal tenants of 30 years off to cover their losses. They do not do as advertised. Horrible at customer service and never return phone calls
. Need to have their real-estate ethics reviewed. Beware when dealing with them. To much to list. One star is to much credit to give them. I challenge the owner of this business to.come yp.with a fair settlement. Get in touch with me and settle this robbery of this loyal tenants now. They literally stole $1000 from a disabled and disadvantaged female who honestly tried to make matters correct. She was correct in all her business dealing and jwl has no right to that money. What they have done is illegal and immoral. Taking advantage of her every time they could.

My experience as a tenant of JWL Property rentals has been absolutely fantastic. I feel the price for my rental was very fair. Each and every time I had a maintenance request, it was handled promptly, and any and all issues were fixed. I love JWL!

They falsely accuse people of lease violations, fine them. And then when the person defends their position like any adult person would/should they evict them from the property. So, steer clear of properties managed by this company they don't use evidence to back up their accused lease violations and charge people hundreds of dollars based on hearsay. Unprofessional and greedy. I wish I could give a 0 star review they deserve it.

NEVER rent from JWL property rentals. Had the worse experience and the worst customer service. I did call the better business bureau on them today. If you have been scammed by this company I would advise you call the better business bureau too.

There is TERRIBLE customer service. My heater was broken for an about 2 weeks. They dropped off a space heater a week after saying they would. Requested a mail key in the portal 10 days prior to coming in. Called the office not once but twice before coming in to pick it up. Came in and was told to come in next week because they don’t have a copy. You literally had 10 days to do so and I called twice and came in on the day they told me to come in and it’s still not ready. I have work orders from when January 1st that have yet to be fixed and it is currently February 16. Worst company ever.

When we first moved in JWL was very nice and responded very quickly to requests made by us. As time went on, issues dragged on longer than needed and it was often difficult to get ahold of someone to help us. During the moving out process, things were more difficult than they needed to be. We left our apartment in good condition and cleaner than how it was when we moved in. Despite all that they proceeded to take over 75% of our deposit with no good explanation for the charges we were supposedly on the hook for. We got charged $100 for a singular light bulb replacement for example. If possible, avoid living in an any property owned by JWL at all costs. The worst management I’ve ever dealt with in any apartment complex across the US.

JWL does a good job of keeping us informed and taking care of the property they manage for us. I think they would be excellent at managing actual rental properties. Ours is our home that we needed to rent out while we were working out of state, so our expectations differ from an owner whose primary goal is to generate revenue. JWL far better than our previous big name property manager in the area.
