About us
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, a student in Orange County, a long-time resident of Los Angeles and then a transplant to the Central Coast - I am a passionate ambassador for the beautiful state of California. I founded 'She Helps Homeowners' to offer my compassionate and empathetic energy to support those on a home buying or selling journey. I am also an investor that buys, holds and flips properties. I live in Los-Osos Baywood with my two young boys. I couldn’t be prouder to raise my kids here - this nook of the Central Coast dotted with protected green space, views of the bay and ocean, and a thousand places to get dirty… which is exactly what little kids should be doing! I’ve done just about everything career-wise, including fundraising, accounting, community organizing, and marketing consulting. After a long stint producing HGTV Home Renovation shows, I became a realtor to combine my love of helping people with my love of all things real estate. It’s truly a dream job that I was made for. My commitment to my clients goes beyond closing deals - because after all - this is our community. Connecting neighbors and contributing to the vibrant fabrics that bind all of us is aligned with my values and a guiding light for my personal and professional goals. That is why I named my company “She Helps Homeowners.” My work isn’t about me, it’s about helping you. Whether you have inquiries about the market or interest rates, need expert guidance or referrals, or are ready to list your home or buy a new one - It would be my honor to interview for the position of being your go-to real estate gal. It’s a humbling and meaningful job to help folks through some of the biggest transactions and transitions of their lives, and I don’t take it lightly. Janelle was great to work with! I'm new to the area and she gave her opinion on all the areas I was considering. Once I narrowed it down to an area, and then made an offer, she was incredibly helpful with the negotiations and due diligence. There were several issues that came up and she helped navigate all of it and we were still able to close on time. I would definitely recommend her and will work with her again on future purchases.

Janelle came recommended to us by another happy customer, so we took a chance on her. Boy are we glad we did! We have bought and sold many homes over the years and dealt with many different realtors. Janelle is on the very top of our list of great ones! She moves quickly, is extremely efficient, friendly and fun while being professional at the same time. Rarely did more than a few minutes pass waiting for a return call or text. We ran into a couple of glitches along the way which Janelle handled quickly and efficiently to our amazement! She is also very talented (and patient) when it comes to explaining and re-explaining certain terms, laws and policies that we know nothing about. Janelle was also helpful in helping us choose our buyer.
Next time we are selling property, Janelle will definitely be the FIRST person we call!

I met Janelle through the BiggerPockets real estate forum she responded to a post I had created seeking help in purchasing creative finance deal. I connected with Janelle’s communication style and her knowledge of both traditional and creative finance for investors. Janelle was so helpful with the purchase of our new home. She had great recommendations for contractors, inspectors, and team members for before, during, and after the home purchase process and walked us through every step of the process. I appreciated her honest opinions and insight into each house/property we looked at, both for investment potential and renovation recommendations. Highly recommend working with Janelle, she will continue to be our realtor of choice!

Janelle was great to work with as first time home buyers! We didn't want to buy a turn-key house, but a fixer upper with a lot of potential. I knew we would need an awesome realtor for this, and luckily I found Janelle on Bigger Pockets - and I'm so happy I did!!! Janelle was not afraid of the extreme fixer upper we wanted. She helped us put together a successful offer and guided us through an unusually long escrow and court-approval process.
Janelle is knowledgeable, imaginative, hard working, and kind. She also has great contacts, from lending to contractors. I highly recommend Janelle as a realtor in the Central Coast!
