Because we were in a somewhat unique situation, Tyler suggested that we probably would not save money by going through the refinancing route. But then he stayed on the phone and gave me some excellent options which did not involve my applying for a regular refinance. These options did not involve doing business with him, but he said that his main goal was to help the people who came to him for advice (even if he didn't get them as a client). I was impressed!
