We recently worked with David and his team from Brooke Group Real Estate to sell our home. It was a great experience! We starting working with David a few months before listing our home, and he was able to personally provide lots of advice and ideas for maximizing the appeal of our home. He also connected us with an expert to evaluate the house and provide specific recommendations for low cost investments that would have a big impact on the selling price. When the house went on the market we got a great response - and 7 very strong offers, all over the listing price. Everyone we worked with at Brooke Group was great, very responsive and engaged, and they helped us all the way through the closing to make sure everything went smoothly.

At the beginning I felt confident with this choice due to some of the high reviews and the “big game talk”. It turns out all talk and no game…so things quickly faded when I learned the lack of involvement, growing disinterest, and lack of professionalism with this team. I was told David would know how to save me the most money and fight for every dollar. His solution to most things was to send his team instead of showing up himself. Same with recommending lower deals, or paying money when I shouldn’t have. His team let someone damage my house during the open house and not get their info. His team missed paperwork dates on getting things signed when I was going to purchase a house; and in all the dealings I just had to either take care of things myself or pay more money as that was always “David’s recommendation”. Finally I had to speak with my lawyer as he only made things more challenging and I wound up saving myself 1,700 even though he said to try or I’d risk loosing out. I had to always also go back and check their work; as more often than not it wasn’t in my best interest. At one point David even after the little advice I was given yelled at me saying I was ruining my own deal and to just take worsening and worsening terms. What should have taken a couple of months, took 5 due to lack of effort on his part to hold anyone accountable. It wasn’t until I said he needed to call the broker or I would that he finally did and the process completed. Thoroughly compare more options before going with this group….I am now working with a new team to help my mother buy a home and it’s underway within 2 weeks; not to mention I’m getting more help scouting an investment property.

Spent about a half hour looking around and she was very knowledgeable about the house and honest. Great realtor!
