My nearly 20 years of real estate investment experience includes managing long-term and short-term rentals, developing single family homes from the ground up, and “house hacking” by building an accessory dwelling unit for rental purposes at my personal residence in the idyllic town of Ojai, California. Although I no longer actively provide legal counsel, I worked as a licensed attorney in Florida and overseas starting in 2011. This work included private land use and environmental law practice, acting as Assistant City Attorney for a coastal Florida municipality, and academic work at the University of Florida’s law school.
