Hey there! My name is Matt English and I am a dually licensed real estate broker & certified residential appraiser here in the Denver/Lakewood area. Leveraging the cross section of these two skill sets has given me the knowledge and expertise to understand how to translate value to my clients and other industry professionals. My focus has always been on addressing the number one question we all have when buying or selling a home - What is the property actually worth? And why? In taking this perspective of "value over price", we're taking a proactive approach at actually understanding the true objective value of the property we are analyzing before writing offers. I've had the advantage of analyzing hundreds of accepted purchase agreements over the years as an appraiser and understand the art of constructing a winning contract and/or what pitfalls to avoid. I'll teach you how to apply these strategic measures into your offers to ensure that you're submitting smart and competitive contracts that ultimately win. I found Matt through a mutual friend and after a few months of searching, I am finally in a home that meets all of my realistic goals and even a couple of "hopes and dreams" items!
Matt was instrumental in helping me not only find a home but also in showing me paths to possibilities I had never truly considered as viable. He spent hours reviewing the options with me and I'm now in a great home in a great neighborhood with tremendous potential behind it for a house hack.
I look forward to taking the next step on this journey and plan to use Matt again in the future.

When I moved to Denver I wanted to build a team around me to kickstart my real estate journey. Matt was the perfect addition to my team as my real estate agent. He worked with me to build a strategy that worked for me and would help me reach my goals. When the markets were shifting, he helped me shift my strategy too. He was knowledgeable in multifamily, house hacking, and single family. All three strategies we looked into. I’m about to move into a great single family home with house hacking potential. We were able to negotiate a solid deal on the place and I am extremely happy with the outcome. I can’t recommend Matt enough as an agent and an incredible member of your own real estate team.

Matt was fantastic to work with throughout the process. He helped me get up to speed on the local market right away. And once we had the offer accepted, he was available for support throughout. I really enjoyed working with Matt as he let me move at my own pace.

Matt was FANTASTIC to work with. As a first time homebuyer, I had a ton of questions throughout the process and he coached me through everything from start to finish. Matt does a great job of painting a picture of your options and letting you make the decision. He was very patient with us as we visited many homes over many, many months and helped us determine our ideal buying criteria. When we made decisions he operated with speed to keep us moving through the process. I always felt like Matt was in our corner every step of the way. We are totally happy with the home we purchased and even got a new friend out of the deal!

I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Matt on multiple listings throughout the last year, and after recently closing on the last property we just worked together on, I felt the need to leave this review. The level of professionality that Matt exhibits on every project he's a part of is incomparable to most real estate agents in our area. It's refreshing to see someone that does everything in his power to serve the people around him, both clients he's working for and agents he's working with. I will continue to work with Matt in any capacity that I can well into the future!

Matt helped me to purchase my first home in Denver's competitive market. From the beginning of the process, Matt was conscientious, transparent, and professional. He helped me drill down to the specifics of what I wanted out of my first home, set me up on a custom search right away, and moved quickly when I shared listings that caught my interest. Because of his attention to detail and his focus on the needs of both his buyer & the seller(s), we were able to get me under contract under asking price, with seller concessions, and he even helped me save $200/month from what I was paying as a renter! Matt made an emotional and often-overwhelming process as smooth and simple as possible. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who aims to buy, sell, or invest in real estate!
