Recent guest on BiggerPockets Rookie Podcast - Episode 426! I'm a Realtor (and Army Vet) in Colorado Springs that helps clients with house hacking, long-term rentals, short-term rentals, mid-term rentals, and VA loans. I have a passion for helping others with wealth building and real estate investing. I believe that just one property can change your life. I own rental properties in Washington state, Minnesota, and Colorado. This includes 12 long term rental units and 1 short term rental. More about me: I enjoyed my time as an Officer in the Army, but I quickly realized it wasn't in the long-term Family plans and I needed an avenue to a better quality of life. While sitting in a truck at the National Training Center, I began to read a book called "rich dad poor dad". It changed everything. The day I returned home I had an agent locked in and a plan to invest in real estate to build up enough cash flow to smoothly exit the Military. 4 years later, I made it out of the rat race and am loving every second of it. My next level is transitioning from small multifamily into apartment buildings (6-25 units) in the Colorado Springs area.

Working with Jayson has been amazing. I am a first time home buyer and lack all general knowledge of what to expect. Jayson has been willing to help me through each detail, worked with me to fit my timelines and goals, while explaining all aspects that I should be careful of.
He turned a complex endeavor such as buying a house, into something that was quite easy to understand and go through with. I felt supported in each step. He has also gone above and beyond to ensure I built my entire team, such as introducing me to different lenders, CPAs, inspection companies etc… He also has personal experience with STRs which has been of great value to helping me get started.
I will 100% look to work with Jayson again for both my personal residence and future investment properties!

We started working together in July and on September 26, we closed on my first home! As a first-time home buyer, I couldn’t have asked for a better real estate agent than Jayson. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the home buying process! We bought a home remotely and he went above and beyond to take videos and detail his opinion about each house we looked at to make sure we knew what we were buying. If I needed to buy another home I would work with him again.

I call Jayson my REI Sensei. I’ve been investing for 18 months and currently have seven rental units, with two more under contract. If you’re looking to transition from aspiring investor to RE investor, I’d recommend Jayson 100x over. He taught me how to properly analyze properties, choose and analyze a market, optimize personal finances, set goals, tie those goals to my current life situation, and convinced me to dream bigger. Instead of buying a single family, I bought a quadplex as my first rental! Jayson’s ability to simplify concepts, teach, and empower his clients sets him apart from the typical agent who claims to be an expert in RE.
